Welcome to Emaya

Certified yoga teachers + wellness coaches, authors + speakers, friends + mothers.

Emaya co-founders, Connie Viglietti and Michaela Cullen have been friends since sharing the stage as music theatre majors at Elon University in the early 2000's and have been teaching and coaching since 2007.  Through our individual studies, unique experiences, coaching and teaching we have joined together to create empowering programs, retreats, content and community with the mission to help women connect to their light, purpose and power.

Our Back To Her Program is praised for its unique combination of an inspiring 40 day yoga and meditation practice with empowering transformational work sessions.  This program is designed to be an immersive deep-dive back to SELF (essence) where your divine feminine wisdom, unwavering light, clear purpose and fierce power reside.

Listen to our monthly Coffee Talk with Cala and Connie on all things yoga, meditation, self-improvement and Mom life.

Why Emaya?

The name Emaya is a combination of the names of our sweet daughters, Emilie and Maia= EM-MAYA. Michaela and Connie have followed a similar path most of their lives, sharing dreams of performing, having a family, and leading a full and healthy life. Having children, and all the joys and challenges that come with being a creative woman AND a Mom, is what finally inspired the ladies to create something together. Emaya is a circle that is designed to inspire, connect and empower through yoga, inner work, coaching, meditation, humor and community. We are passionate about helping others connect to their light, power and purpose and believe that community is what it’s all about!

We decided to look up the definition of Emaya and squealed with delight when we realized it was an actual word when we read the meaning: Emaya is an idealist who embraces the principles of compassion and forgiveness. Emaya is a visionary who is willing to make a better world and have the ability to influence masses. Emaya is creative and imaginative, that gives her an artistic talent.
